Managing weight can be frustrating, especially due to societal pressures to look a certain way. By shifting our focus to health for ourselves, not others, we allow our body to reach its optimal form. I work with clients to uncover the real reasons behind weight retention beyond diet and exercise. Educating clients about their habits and empowering them with knowledge leads to great results in our clinic.

Frequently asked questions
Have questions about our services, treatments, or how we can support your health journey? Check out our frequently asked questions here.
Is Naturopathy Scientific?
Yes. Most naturopaths are degree-qualified professionals trained in human anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and the pharmacology of herbs and drug-herb interactions. Sarah is a graduate of the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine in New Zealand, holding a Bachelor in Natural Medicine, and is a member of ANPA, a self-regulatory body for naturopaths. At the Wellness Service, we regularly undergo professional development and stay up-to-date with research concerning natural therapies, supplements, and herbal medicines.
What is involved in a Naturopathic Consultation?
The initial consultation usually lasts about 90 minutes. An in-depth case history is taken, including previous health history and family health history. Sarah will investigate the root causes of the client’s symptoms and draw up a treatment plan, which is presented at the second consultation (treatment plan presentation). From there, Sarah will monitor the client’s progress through the treatment plan and make amendments as necessary to ensure it is effective and sustainable for the client’s lifestyle, capabilities, and preferences.
How long will this process take?
Typically, an initial consultation lasts about 60-90 minutes, allowing time for a comprehensive health assessment. Follow-up sessions are usually shorter, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. The entire process may span a few weeks to several months, depending on the complexity of your health concerns and the treatment plan. Regular reviews are conducted to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure the best outcomes.
What methods for payment are available?
We accept bank deposit and cash.
Do you do mobile consultations?
Yes we do travel within limited distances. Mobile consultations are charged an extra $5 to $10 more, depending on where you live. Let me know if you do require this service.
